Back in early March, three from our team – Josh, Samantha and Lilia – were packing for a trip to Baltimore for the 2020 Nonprofit Technology Conference, hosted annually by NTEN. Josh and Samantha were gearing up to run a session on website maintenance and even had a spot lined up on Tony Martignetti’s Nonprofit Radio podcast to promote their session.
Though it was for the best, we were disappointed when NTC got cancelled due to the spread of the novel coronavirus. At that point, it seemed like we might need to wait another year to spread the gospel on website maintenance. Luckily, our friend Tony was determined to provide a platform for the island of misfit sessions that wouldn’t have the chance to speak at the conference. On June 12th, 2020, Josh and Samantha appeared on Tony’s podcast to chat about nonprofit web maintenance.
They covered how crucial it is to take care of a recently redesigned website – to update statistics, post news articles, spotlight upcoming events and more. Most importantly, they discuss how these changes can be made by any nonprofit professional – no design or development experience required!
Listen to the podcast below – Josh and Sam come in at 32:00 – to learn more about the ways your organization can be empowered to keep its website looking shiny and new.
