Pointing in a new direction

A challenging web platform and outdated aesthetics left Point with an online presence that lacked the organization’s spirit and swagger. Our first move was to cleanse Point’s color palette, exploring eclectic, dynamic hues. We bottled this newfound energy and released it into a series of unique page layouts, introducing interactive elements like interviews with the Point family and the ability to submit questions to a Point scholar.

Having a beautiful site is great – but Point’s existing content management system had become a back-end burden. To alleviate any potential headaches, we used WordPress as the new site’s backbone. This decision empowered us to explore more interesting aesthetics without the fear of complicating site management.

Since launching in November of 2015, people are spending more time on Point Foundation’s site. And thanks to WordPress’s intuitive content management system, the Point team has been running the site like a boss.
